Learning through artifacts left from years ago we start thinking about what life was like long ago. Can you imagine living in an age when there weren't computers, cell phones, or televisions? How about a time when there wasn't flushing toilets, electricity, or running water? Seems crazy to imagine, but also cool to think about being alive when those things were first invented. Imagine driving one of the very first cars!Do you think it would have been fun to write in hieroglyphics? Maybe you would have enjoyed not having to go to school and instead taking care of animals on a farm. Think about the past and tell us something that would be different if you lived in a different time.
I love have we doing all these field trips to explore and learn no artifacts!!!:))

It would be so cool to drive the first car, to ride the first bike but not that fun to go to the bathroom in the pot next to my bed when my brother is in the same room.

I think that it would be fun to live on a farm and take care of the animals.it would also be cool to write hieroglyphics because you get to draw things instead of talking to someone.i can`t imagine living without tv or computers but if i didn`t have any electronics it would be nice to listen to stories by a story teller. - Cayla =)

If I lived back then that will be ausome because you get to try things for the first time it was made. I agree with Taylor that it's not fun having a toilet by your bed but the people who lived back then where are going to use the toilet.

I agree but like miss tara said it would be cool to be the first of all of that stuff but what if had to live like that it would be hard then what we do today. And no electricity would actually be cool cause there is all sort of things you could do in nature.oh and what if we were the first to go swim in a pool there is a abunch of thing you can be the first at you just need to find it!!!!!

when I think about the past I feel lucky that we have electricity and cars.Studying artifacts is interesting because when we see pictures from the past we can predict what they use it for or how they live.

I agree with alexis that it would be cool to meet the 1 president or a queen but I think that it would be pretty uncomfortable to always be wearing a dress it would be cool to ride in a carrige or on a horse plus it does not contaminate the enviormant

it woud be so boring because at night when your not aloud to go out side what will you do i will be bored because when i cant go out side i wath tv and no phones if some thing happens how will you be able to call your family also what if they live very far away you woudent be able to walk all the way over there dorian
